Morning Leaders – Restoration

Morning Leaders. I have observed when a man has violated or hurt someone deeply, it is often another man who is used to restore and bring healing to the injured individual. I have also observed when a woman has violated or hurt someone deeply, it is often a woman who is used for restoration and healing. Why? I have no clue. Perhaps in the restoration it renews the humanity of the violator’s gender as well as the humanity of the injured. #Observations

Morning Leaders – Self-Neglect

Morning Leaders. Some of us have learned that sacrificing yourself for the sake of others is an honorable and loving thing. Then there are some of us who have learned it is okay to neglect ourselves under the guise of sacrificing for others. Why do we glorify self-neglect when it is a false narrative? #FoodForThought #KillingMyselfIsNotLove #RealSoulCare

Morning Leaders – Be Alive

Morning Leaders. “What you have to decide…is how you want your life to be. If your forever was ending tomorrow, would this be how you’d want to have spent it? Listen, the truth is, nothing is guaranteed. You know that more than anybody. So don’t be afraid. Be alive.” – Sarah Dessen // #KeepinIt300 #DontBeAfraidBeAlive

Morning Leaders – Life of Service

Morning Leaders. “Life is a place of service, and in that service one has to suffer a great deal that is hard to bear, but more often to experience a great deal of joy. But that joy can be real only if people look upon their lives as a service and have a definite object in life outside themselves and their personal happiness.” – Count Leo Tolstoy

Morning Leaders – Too Hard

Morning Leaders. When you are an agent of change/transformation, there are forces meant to distract/stop/frustrate/detour you from your purpose. Be mindful of this reality lest you get discouraged and quit because it is “too hard”. This is your life. Your assignments are too important. That’s why you are a transformative agent. #PressThrough #PressOn #PurposedByDesign
