Being “Done” v. Being “Perfect”

By using apps like Flipboard, Alltop and Pocket, I get to read a variety of interesting and provocative articles.  I recently found this Fast Company article addressing the reality that believing in ideas is easy, the hard part is actually putting them into practice.

With companies like Instagram, Facebook, and Rovio leading the charge, the mantra “done is better than perfect” can clearly be seen.  This reminds us it is better to ship a product/service than stay stuck in the halls of perfection without ever going to market.

Morning Leaders – Bootlegging

Morning Leaders. What I find disturbing are people who copy other people’s ideas/work and then pass it off as if it was their own idea/concept. If you are going to bootleg, at least be honest with the audience, and yourself. #PhoninessIsWack #DisclaimerUpFront #Honesty #BeTrueToThineOwnSelf #ForTheNoseyPeoplePleaseDontReadSomethingIntoThisNothingHappenedToMeLol

Morning Leaders – Faith Is

Morning Leaders. “Faith is not in itself a meritorious act; the merit is in the One toward Whom it is directed. Faith is a redirecting of our sight, a getting out of the focus of our own vision and getting God into focus…Faith looks out instead of in and the whole life falls into line” – A.W. Tozer

Morning Leaders – Impossible Is Nothing

Morning Leaders. “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it.
Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion.
Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare.
Impossible is potential.
Impossible is temporary.
Impossible is nothing.”
– Muhammed Ali
